Getting Started
How to begin lessons
Tap the Lessons tab at the bottom of the app. Choose any unlocked lesson and tap it to start. The Greetings & Basics lesson is always free.
How to use flashcards
Inside a lesson, tap Flashcards. Swipe through each card to see the Fijian word, then tap the card to reveal the English translation. Use the speaker icon to hear the pronunciation.
How to complete quizzes
After studying with flashcards, tap Quiz Me. Read each question and tap your answer. You'll see instant feedback — green for correct, red for incorrect — and a score at the end.
How to track your progress
Your completed lessons are shown on the home screen. The stats card at the top shows your total lessons, words learned, and completed lessons.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need an internet connection?
Most learning content — lessons, flashcards, and quizzes — can be accessed without a constant internet connection. An internet connection may be needed to download audio on first use.
Do I need an account?
No account is currently required to use Learn Fijian. Simply download the app and start learning straight away.
How do I update the app?
Updates are distributed through the Apple App Store. Open the App Store, go to your profile, and scroll down to see available updates.
